The girl’s Cross Country season has been full of success, and sadly it is coming to an end. The team would like to thank Coach Hooffstetter for coaching us and devoting her time to helping us become better runners individually and as a team. We would also like to thank our assistant coach, Kate Kuisel, for organizing practices, cheering us on, and pushing us to be the best we could possibly be.

However, the season is not quite finished yet, the varsity team had an amazing finish at lower state where they placed in 7th and qualified for 2A State Championships. The girls are hopeful for a victory, but will be satisfied with a top 10 finish. The state meet will be held in Columbia, SC at Sandhills Research Center on November 5. 2A and 1A girl’s teams will run at 12:3o and we wish them the best of luck. Let’s go Raptors!
