Spring Break Trip to Europe
For all of you who dream of traveling through Europe, I have great news! Students here at AMHS have the opportunity to travel throughout Italy, Switzerland, France, and Germany this spring break. This trip offers students the opportunity to experience five European countries and so much of what they have to offer. The trip has been organized by Dr. Altman through the Educational Tour Group. Here is a basic outline of the trip. If you have any further inquiries, or would like to sign up, find Dr. Altman.
Day 1: You will fly into Frankfurt Germany.
Day 2: Take a tour of the old medieval town of Rothenburg, Germany.
Day 3 and 4: Travel to Munich, Germany and experience some of the best Munich has to offer by foot. You will also learn about the horrors of nazi concentration camps in a tour of Dachau. In addition to all this, you will also tour Neuschwanstein Castle!
Day 5-6: Travel to Venice, Italy and experience it’s renowned canals and romantic gondolas.
Day 7-8: Experience the Alps in the beautiful city of Lucerne, Switzerland.
Day 9: Travel to the infamous Black Forest and Rhine Falls in Heidelberg, Germany.
Day 10: Enjoy the blend of German and French culture in the border town of Strasbourg, France.
Day 11-12: Visit Paris and Versailles, France in a walking tour and of course your trip includes a visit to the Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum!
Day 13: Fly home.
