Decade Day
Tuesday was filled with lots of school spirit as students in each grade dressed up for different decades. The freshman dressed up for the 20’s with flapper outfits and costume jewelry. Some freshman also portrayed the great depression of the 20’s and 30’s, and dressed as homeless people. The sophomores dressed for the 60’s and came dressed in tie-dye t-shirts, peace signs and other hippie attire. The juniors successfully pulled off the early 2000’s in their suede sweat pants and gel hairstyles. The seniors took an interesting approach to this years Decade Day. While other grades opted to dress in past decades, the seniors chose to dress for the future! According to the seniors, the future will be filled with aliens, space and robots, and thats exactly how they dressed!
