Manuel Ramos

Manuel Ramos is 15 years old and from Madrid, Spain.  He is close friends with Spanish exchange student, Pablo.  Upon coming to America he expected a lot of really big and fat people.  He loves the high school here because they are exactly like the high schools he has seen in films.  He likes that the high schools here are bigger and the sports are more important.  He loves the teachers because they are more kind and care about your behavior.  His favorite thing about America is how much the people love their country.  He says that in Spain, many people are not patriotic.  His favorite American food is milkshakes.  He misses his friends from home a lot but loves the friends he has made here.  The weirdest thing about America he says, is that we eat dinner at 7 pm rather than 10pm or even 1am in Spain. His favorite teacher at Magnet is Mr. Rush.  He has already visited Disney World while here and would like to also visit America.  He also wants to learn to play football.  Manuel is staying with the Cococolas. Manuel will be headed back to Madrid at the end of October, so get to know him while you can!
