Chandler Gravely’s 30 Minute Workout Routine

For close to everyday in the past two and a half years, I have tried to workout in some way every day. However, this process for the most part has not been entirely successful and has shown little results. So this past summer I decided to try something new. In the span of three months this new workout routine has had more of a favorable outcome than what I was doing for the past year and a half, not to mention it can all be done in under thirty minutes (although running two to three times a week helps as well). Listed below is what I day split up into A days and B days:
A Days
- One set of thirty reps with a 20 pound free weight with each arm
- 60 crunches to enforce one’s upper abs
- Planking for a minute to strengthen the stomach muscles
- 20 push-ups
- 60 sit-ups to help the lower abs
B Days
- 60 crunches
- Planking for a minute
- 60 sit-ups
These exercises are easy to do and do not consume much time. If I find myself with more time in the evenings, I’ll sometimes do them two times with short breaks in between.
