Marie Grøngaard

Marie Grøngaard is from Randers, Denmark.  Marie expected that Americans would be super friendly and was surprised to find we are not all fat.  She was also surprised to find that the city of Charleston is bigger than she expected.  This is Marie’s first time to America!  Marie loves how open Americans are with their talents, whether it be writing, music or a sport!  She misses the weather in Denmark but still thinks Charleston is a beautiful city and loves that there is always something to do.  She loves the selection of food here in America.  She loves that if you want a cookie, you can simply go to the grocery store and find yourself amidst a wide variety of types.  Before she leaves leaves she would like to visit New York City and try donuts!
