Buff Puff takes place this Friday, November 6th! You have until Friday to buy tickets for only $5. The proceeds from this exciting event will go to Anne Rodger’s thesis to help finish a kindergarten in Honduras. For Anne’s senior thesis, she created a coloring book in Spanish in order to communicate the idea of gender equality in education, and the importance of maintaining an education in terms of improving economic, social, and overall stability of the individual in society to combat the underdevelopment of education in Honduras. She visited three schools in El Sauce, Honduras and conducted focus groups with primary school students to discuss the importance of staying in school.

Thanks to the donations so far, Anne has raised enough money to stock the libraries of these schools with her books. Now the final stage of the project is to build a kindergarten in El Sauce. If every magnet student buys a ticket for Buff Puff, Anne will raise enough money to complete this project. You will also get to see your magnet boys play volleyball!
