Officer Watson’s Polar Plunge!
In case you haven’t heard about it on the announcements or seen the posters around the hall, our very own SRO Officer Watson (the winner of the AMHS Hunger Games) is taking the Polar Plunge in support of the Special Olympics on February 19th. According to him, he has been plunging for the past four years, and hopes to raise as much money as possible this year. Please feel free to donate to his fund with the QR code! All of the funds Officer Watson raises stay within South Carolina to support the Special Olympics!

Why would Officer Watson jump into the frigid Atlantic during mid-February, one may ask? Well, this cause is near and dear to his heart. He and his wife have family member who have autism and down syndrome, and some of their nephews participate in the Special Olympics.
The Plunge is taking place at The Windjammer at the Isle of Palms on Saturday, February 18th. There will be live music, food, and performances. It is sure to be a fun-filled day of supporting a worthy cause. Please see this link to find more information or buy your ticket!
If anyone is interested in doing the plunge with Officer Watson, he would love to form a team to represent AMHS! Shoot him an email at david_watson.c@charleston.k12.sc.us
