Lowcountry Science Fair Winners

Tuesday, April 9th,  members of the science club presented their research at the Lowcountry Science Fair.  In the category of Biological Science, Adriana Carter came in second place and Jonathan Ye came in third place.  Stephen Hilton and John Paradise won the category of Engineering, Mathematics, Robotics, and Systems and they also won the Most Outstanding Exhibit of Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry from the Yale Science and Engineering Association.  Ishraq Haque won the category of Environmental Science.  He also won the Earth & Environmental Sciences Award from the Charleston Soil and Water Conservation District, with a prize of $100, and the Stockholm Junior Water Prize AND the American Water Works Association Water Drop Award AND the Ricoh Sustainable Development Award.  Ishraq was also invited to present his research at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix Arizona in May.\
