LACROSSE MAR 19 vs HILTON HEAD: Junior Goalie Sam Ford-Dirks was STELLAR in net, stopping THIRTY-ONE shots.  Raptors’ offense was led by an incredible NINE goals from Senior Steven Schlosser.  While Sophomore John Thomas notched FOUR goals of his own.  Raptors improved their overall record to 7-4, with a thrilling 16-15 victory over Hilton Head.  Other Raptor Goals: Junior Chap Hodges (2), Junior Daniel Nichols(1).

 

 

LACROSSE MAR 12 at MYRTLE BEACH:  Once again, led by Sophomore John Thomas’ FOUR goals, the Raptors improved their overall record to 6-4, with a 7-5 victory over Myrtle Beach.  Junior Goalie Sam “Iron Curtain” Ford-Dirks shut down the Seahawks’ late surge, with some incredible saves.  Freshman Drew Yates had a solid performance in Attack.  Other Raptor Goals: Junior Will Jordan (2), Junior Daniel Nichols (1).

 

 

 

LACROSSE MAR 9 at RIVER BLUFF:  Led by Sophomore John Thomas’ 5 goals, the Raptors improved their overall record to 5-4, with a 9-7 victory over River Bluff.   In the fourth quarter, Junior Goalie Sam Ford-Dirks shut down the Gators attack, and changed the momentum of the game.  Other Raptor Goals: Senior Steven Schlosser (2), Junior Chap Hodges (1), Junior Will Jordan added an amazing jumping goal.

 

 

LACROSSE MAR 4 at WACCAMAW:  Scoring his FIFTH goal of the night, with a phenomenal behind-the-back shot, Sophomore John Thomas wrapped up the Raptors’ 11-1 victory over Waccamaw.  And on the defensive end, Junior goalie Sam Ford-Dirks was like the old Iron Curtain, allowing only ONE goal all night.  Raptor goals:  Senior Steven Schlosser (3) Junior Chap Hodges (1) Junior Daniel Nichols(1) Junior Will Jordan (1).

LACROSSE MAR 2 at AC Flora:  In back-to-back games, Junior Chap Hodges scores 4 goals for the Raptors.  Raptor stifling defense was led by Senior Alec Golberg.  Other goals:  Senior Steven Schlosser(2) and Sophmore John Thomas(2).  Raptors fall to AC Flora of Columbia 14-8.

 

 

 

LACROSSE FEB 28 vs OCA:  Playing in their fourth game in just seven days,  Raptors were led by Junior Chap Hodges with 4 goals in their game versus Oceanside Collegiate Academy.  Despite an incredible defensive effort, led by Junior Goalie Sam Ford-Dirks, Raptors fell to the OCA 14-8.  Other goals:  Senior Steven Schlosser(2) and Sophmore John Thomas(2).
