OrTre Smith Commits to USC

OrTre Smith, a four star recruit at Wando High school, announced his commitment to The University of South Carolina over the weekend. The six foot four, 210 pound, wide receiver received offers from 21 division one schools. During his junior season, he set the school records for touchdowns, receptions, and total yards. OrTre is the top recruit in the state and one of the top recruits in the country. He is ranked 12th in the country in his position and 85th overall. He narrowed his choices down to USC and Clemson. His mother attended and played volleyball for Clemson. OrTre made the tough decision of choosing South Carolina by ways of a video. It was one of the few silent commitments. The senior captain hopes to lead the warriors to the 5-A state championship.
