Senior Wills

Senior+Wills

Attention all seniors! It’s time for senior wills. Senior wills are short letters that a senior writes detailing what you leave behind to the underclassmen when you graduate. All senior wills need to be submitted by Wednesday, May 20. You can submit your will by emailing it to amhstalon@gmail.com OR in a direct Facebook message to The Talon. All wills need to be school appropriate and we reserve the right to edit.  Wills will be posted in an upcoming article. The format of the will should be as follows:

I, (insert name), being of (insert adjective) mind and (insert adjective) body, do hereby leave (insert what you leave and which underclassman you leave it for)

Here are some examples from the class of 2010:

I, Kwan Fuller, being of sane mind and strong body, do hereby leave all the good times and laughs we had in Honors Calculus to Taylor Davis, and I leave Gaylen Malone those lovely memories of us awkwardly exchanging smiles in the hallway. May Magnet treat you well as Seniors.

I, Ellie Hart, being of magnetized mind and bootylicious body, do hereby leave the Varsity Girl Basketball team to the “Katy/ies.” You guys better “get after it.” I leave the Varsity Tennis team to Sarah, Celia, and Paige. Leila, lead the Volvo crew with your white volv. To my favorite person Jenna Beauauaujahfkjdshgd, I leave you with 149873894 silly bands, my ID, your awesome mom, and KJ. To Helen Olmi, I leave you with awkward conversations with a certain person and I guess you can have my Junior year prom date. Serena I leave you with our special Serena-Ellie hugs. Nicole Ufkes I leave you with physical therapy and hopping fences. Nicole Owens I leave you a message in a bottle. Lorena I leave you with cuatro crazys. Emma, Nate, and Ellison, hold down the neighborhood. Julie Landsman, wanna be friends?  Calla I leave you with the  missing oysters. Davonte, don’t forget about your buddy! Emily Gossen, I leave you with my brother. Alan and Hunter, carry on the hilarious things that I can’t remember you did. Paniz, I leave you with Will Rathman, sprint phones and Friday the 13th. Caroline, I leave you with 3 cupcakes and brownies.

I, Wanjiao Zhang, being of bored mind and ecstatic body, do hereby leave procrastination (or the lack of) habits to the whole school (enjoy, and you can’t escape), the souls I have collected over the years from, namely, the Juniors and the Peanut Gallery, the soul collector to Jamiesha Hush, purple swirls and Venny & Carebear adventures to Kerry DiGiacomo, growling PCs and cereal to Jake Dustan, my love to Angela <3 and everyone else I meant to include but can’t fit, and finally my cheng yu usage abilities to Yifan Wang (you know what I’m talking about). Also bloopers FTW.

I, Eliza Leland, being of gifted mind and easily sunburnt body, do hereby  leave Sarah my pen you stole and the Bieber Fever. To Corey I leave my heart and an invitation for another “date”. To Emily and Kaitlyn I leave our love for our man (you know who I’m talking about). Don’t worry; I’ll put ya’lls numbers in his phone. To Paniz I leave my freakumness and many dinner dates. To Nick I leave the ability to finally meet the famous Tulunda. To Alan I leave my heart calculator, many more intense tubing days, and a mandatory invitation to visit me at Clemson. To Hunter I leave my CD “jamz” making skills, memories of our soon to happen boat day, and Spruill races. To Celia I leave a dozen eggs and a spot in my dorm. To Christian I leave my shiny locks of hair. To Chris I leave a shred sesh. To the tennis team I leave my #1 singles spot and my amazing skills.
