Teen Pool Party Gone Wrong

Teen Pool Party Gone Wrong

On Saturday, May 6th, teens in North Lauderdale, Florida threw a pool party in a residential community that did not end as expected. A board member of the homeowners association, Nancy James, walked to the community’s pool with her dogs to ask the teenagers to lower the volume of their music. James said she did not “care what they were doing” and that is was not her “job to police the place”  she simply wanted the volume lowered. When James arrived, one of the teenagers picked her up, but both fell to the ground, the young man quickly got back up and proceeded to drag the woman into the pool. James suffered injuries to her leg and shoulder that resulted in large bruises. The teenager responsible for the incident turned himself in on Monday and has been charged with battery of a person 65 years of age or older and admitted that he messed up and has to own up to it.
